- 지구표면에서 가장 낮은 구름층 또는 차폐 현상의 높이로 덮힌 현상을 Broken, Overcast, Obscuration으로 보고하나 Thin이나 Partial로는 분류하지 않는다.

 

Sky Condition
The amount of clouds covering the sky is reported in eighths, or octas, of sky cover. If the sky is clear, it is designated by SKC in a manual report and CLR in an automated
report. Since an automated station cannot detect clouds above 12000 feet, a report clear
indicates there were no clouds detected below 12000 feet.
